This page is for people whose published professional data may appear in a Verifi Company Report ordered by a customer for a company identified by CUI.
1. Who we are and when this notice applies
NOVOGROUP SYSTEMS S.R.L. operates the Verifi service. Verifi is a private service that aggregates and explains public or official information and is not ONRC, ANAF, BPI, a court, a rating agency or a public institution.
A customer may order a one-off report about a company before a payment, contract, purchase or collaboration. The report is not freely published and starts from the CUI confirmed by the customer.
2. What data may appear
- surname and first name, as published in connection with the company;
- published role, for example director, shareholder, beneficial owner or representative;
- shareholding or percentage, if published by the source and relevant to control of the company;
- professional connections with other companies, where the source and match allow display;
- references to proceedings or cases only in the context of the company being checked and with the matching limitation stated.
For this product, we do not collect a CNP, identity document copy, private address, personal phone number or personal email, and we do not supplement the profile with social media data.
3. Data sources
The data comes from public or official registers and datasets concerning companies, financial statements, insolvency and courts, as well as from commercial providers that structure this information. The report states the source and verification date when these are supplied by the data feed.
Verifi cannot amend the source register. If information is incorrect at source, you can also ask the operator of that register to correct it.
4. Purpose and legal basis of processing
The legal basis used is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the customer and Verifi have an interest in understanding the legal counterparty and observable risks before an important economic decision.
We limit processing through one-off CUI queries, minimisation of the categories displayed, disclosure of sources and limitations, private customer access and a contractual ban on resale, indexing or conversion into databases. Data about associated people is not used for marketing.
5. Transparency and information
Many sources do not contain suitable contact details for people associated with the company. Collecting additional data solely for contact would increase the intrusion and could affect the purpose of the check. For this reason, we publish this easily accessible general notice without limiting data subjects' rights.
For questions or to find out whether we hold a report concerning you, write to [email protected]. We will request only the proportionate information needed to identify the report.
6. Access, recipients and retention
- the report is accessible to the customer who ordered it and authorised Verifi staff;
- hosting, email and data providers may process information strictly to operate the service;
- the report is available to the customer online for 12 months;
- a minimal contractual archive may be retained for a further 3 years for support, complaints or the defence of rights;
- we do not sell lists of people or share data for advertising.
7. Your rights and objections
You may have the rights provided for by GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP. To object, provide your name and the company or CUI that helps us identify the report; do not send an identity document copy unless we subsequently request it expressly and proportionately.
We assess objections under Art. 21 GDPR. If they are well founded, we limit display in future reports where the match is reasonable. We cannot delete or amend public registers and do not retrospectively withdraw a report already delivered unless there is an error or a legal obligation.
